Silkie is Estonia's first silk brand and was born out of a fascination for a beautiful and natural material with an incredibly long list of beneficial properties. We are guided by the principle that when you buy, you buy carefully selected products.

100% natural silk

A good product starts with a good material, which is why we use only the finest Mulberry silk, which is 22 momme and therefore more durable. The fabrics come directly from China and have been awarded the Standard OEKO-TEX 100 quality certificate, which means that the production process is controlled and confirms that the textile companies that have been awarded this label do not use harmful substances and are health-friendly.

Each product is special

We believe it is important that cuts are suited to our northern climate, so that silk products have the longest possible life. For example, we aim to create products suitable for winter. This means that we use a denser silk than usual and do not shrink by centimetres. We like a simple and practical cut combined with the characteristics of luxurious silk. We sew our products right here in Estonia, with you in mind.

Responsibility

One of Silkie's core principles is sustainable consumption. That's why we make the most of every fabric. We sew smaller products from the leftovers, which we don't sell, but give as gifts during the campaign. Also, our care labels are made from recycled materials and we do not use film for packaging. These are conscious steps towards greener production and consumption.

We will do our best to get the goods you order to you as quickly as possible. Our warehouse is located in Tallinn and all the products in our e-shop are available immediately. You can choose between Omniva, Itella and DPD parcel machines.
