We are looking for Finnish language training and later Finnish employment:
Nurses, nurses and doctors with a diploma in nursing
How would you like to work in Finland? Make your dreams come true and work safely abroad with MediPower. Finland is internationally renowned for its high quality healthcare and offers a wide range of career opportunities for professionals. We can provide you with the support you need in language learning, living and working.
We offer free Finnish language training via Skype to help you get ready to work in Finland. The training lasts 7-9 months and consists of 200 academic hours. Classes are held in the evenings, so it is also possible to study while working.
The training is Estonian based but the language school teacher can also help participants in Russian. A sufficient number of participants is required to start the training. At the moment we use Skype, but there are also some opportunities to participate in meetings in the language studio, such as a mock exam. All lessons are recorded on Skype and can be watched for a month.
The training is free of charge for the participant who signs a training contract with us, attends the training, takes the language test at the end of the training and, after the training and obtaining the Valvira licence, accepts our job offer in Finland. During the training, you will also need to obtain the necessary documents to apply for a Valvira licence.
The next training course will start in autumn 2025 and it is already worth applying, as places are limited. Suitable candidates are invited for an interview.
- Diploma in nursing/nursing/doctoral studies
- estonian language skills at a communicative level (required for job interviews)
- EU nationality (due to Valvira and work permit conditions)
- Internet connection, headphones, webcam required for learning via Skype
- willingness to commit to training
Diploma requirements:
- The minimum requirement for the professional standard of care worker is 120 ECTS, level 4
- We also accept final year nursing/care students.
- candidates with a diploma older than 01.05.2004 , must have valid professional experience of at least 3 years consecutively for the last 5 years. In addition, must have valid registration with the Health Department for the post of Nurse/Medical Officer.
- For bioanalysts and radiology technicians, we can only offer training places if they already hold a Valvira professional qualification.
