The substitute teacher programme is looking for substitute teachers!

The aim of the substitute teacher programme is to replace teachers in schools and kindergartens who are ill or in training and to provide lessons according to the national curriculum.

• Requirements

  :
  you must have a higher education degree or a higher education degree in education;
  you may have a degree or a post-graduate qualification or a degree in education;
  or in a management or leadership position or in a management or leadership training course or in a management or leadership position or in a management or leadership training programme;
  väga head suhtlemisoskused;
  a good knowledge of Estonian at level C1 and B2 for foreign language teachers;
  no restrictions on working with children.
  
  Substitute teaching is for you if you are:
  punctual - you stick to agreed lesson topics and times;
  fast adaptable - you can cope with different classes and different pupils;
  solution-oriented - you find positive solutions to problems;
  collaborative - find ways to work with different people;
  good self-direction - you are responsible for the results of your own work.
  
  A pedagogical education is not required, but is welcome. If you have a higher education qualification, please include it in your application and we will take it into account. In addition to your level of education, management experience and experience working with young people, your willingness, empathy and ability to communicate the subject matter are important. You should be adaptable and flexible, be able to explain topics from different perspectives and relate what you learn to everyday life so that students can identify with you.
